I'm currently a junior and I'm considering applying to Holy Cross next year. I wanted to ask if anyone knows the SAT score requirements for this college? I don't want to waste my time applying if my score isn't what they are looking for. Thanks for any input!
Holy Cross has adopted a test-optional policy for SAT and ACT scores, which means you are not required to submit your test scores when applying. If you do decide to submit your scores, there are no strict "requirements," but instead, there are ranges of scores that the majority of accepted students tend to fall within.
For reference, the middle 50% SAT scores for admitted students at Holy Cross typically range from 1300 to 1450. Keep in mind that this means 25% of accepted students score below 1300, and 25% score above 1450. So, even if your score is outside of this range, it doesn't mean you have no chance of acceptance. The college looks at various aspects of your application, such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, and essays.
If you believe the rest of your application is strong and you are genuinely interested in Holy Cross, I encourage you to apply regardless of your SAT score. Just make sure to showcase your strengths and passions through your application, and focus on what makes you a unique and qualified candidate.
Good luck with the application process!
