Rescheduling SAT Test Date

Hi all! I recently found out that I have a conflict on the day of my scheduled SAT exam. What's the best way to reschedule my test date? And is there a fee involved in changing it? Thanks so much!

Hi there! No worries, rescheduling your SAT exam is a fairly simple process. You can reschedule your SAT test date by logging into your College Board account and following the steps to change your registration. Do note that you technically can't reschedule the same test - you'll need to cancel the original test date and register for a new one.

While you will be refunded your original registration fee, there will be a rescheduling fee involved, which currently is either $25 or $35 - $25 if you reschedule by the Thursday before the test, $35 after that. However, the fee may be waived in certain situations, such as illness or a family emergency. To request a waiver, you'll need to contact College Board's customer service directly for further assistance.
