Is a 34 ACT score good enough for top colleges like Ivy Leagues?

I recently got a 34 on the ACT, and I'm pretty happy with it, but now I'm wondering if it's good enough for Ivy League schools. I'm interested in majoring in economics, and I've got my eyes on schools like Yale and UPenn. What do you think?

Congratulations on your impressive ACT score! A 34 is indeed a strong score and generally in line with what top colleges, including Ivy League schools, are looking for in applicants. However, it's important to remember that admissions at these elite schools are highly competitive, and your ACT score is just one aspect of your application.

Aside from standardized test scores, Ivy League schools also place a strong emphasis on your grades, personal essays, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation. Pursue your interests passionately, and try to showcase your intellectual curiosity, leadership qualities, and commitment to community service.

As for majoring in economics, top colleges, such as Yale and UPenn, have excellent programs. Keep up the good work academically and continue to engage in extracurricular activities that highlight your interest in this field. Remember that it's good to have a balanced list of schools to apply to, including target, reach, and safety schools.
