University of Pittsburgh tuition info?

Hey everybody, I'm a junior planning to apply to colleges soon and I was looking into the University of Pittsburgh. I'm trying to get an idea of the overall cost, but I'm having difficulty finding information online. Can anyone help me out with their tuition rates (both in-state and out-of-state preferably)? Thanks!

Hi! I'd be happy to help you with the tuition rates for the University of Pittsburgh. Do note that these numbers are for the 2023-2024 academic year and might change by the time you apply, but they should still give you a rough idea. For in-state students, tuition at the University of Pittsburgh is approximately $20,154 per year. For out-of-state students, tuition is around $38,520 per year.

These figures only cover tuition and do not include other expenses like room and board, fees, and personal expenses. To get a more accurate estimate of the overall cost, I recommend using the University of Pittsburgh's net price calculator found on their website. It takes into account your financial situation and provides an estimated financial aid package.

Lastly, remember to research and apply for scholarships, as they can help lower the overall cost of attendance. The University of Pittsburgh offers merit-based scholarships, and you might also be eligible for external scholarships. Good luck with your college application process!
