Minimum GPA for Fordham University?

Hi all, I'm starting to look into colleges and Fordham University caught my eye. Does anyone know what their minimum GPA requirement is? Are there any exceptions or is it strict? Thanks!

While Fordham University does not explicitly state a minimum GPA requirement for admission, the average accepted student has a GPA around 3.8 (unweighted). Do keep in mind that Fordham, like many universities, uses a holistic admissions process, which means that factors such as standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, essays, and other components of your application are also considered alongside your GPA.

A lower GPA does not automatically disqualify you from being admitted to Fordham, as strengths in these other areas can sometimes compensate for that. Additionally, admissions officers will consider the context of your academic performance, the rigor of your course load, any improvement trends over your high school career, and other personal factors that may have impacted your grades.

To strengthen your application, it's a good idea to focus on other aspects, such as writing compelling essays, securing strong letters of recommendation, and highlighting your extracurricular activities and achievements.
