What should my GPA be for a good shot at getting into Mizzou?

I've been considering Mizzou for college, but I'm not sure what kind of GPA they usually expect from applicants. Can anyone help me out with some info on what GPA range I should be in?

To have a good shot at getting into the University of Missouri (Mizzou), it's helpful to aim for a GPA that falls within or above the range of GPAs for admitted students. For Mizzou, the middle 50% GPA range for admitted students is around 3.0 to 3.9 on a 4.0 unweighted scale. This means that 25% of admitted students have a GPA below 3.0, and another 25% have a GPA above 3.9.

However, keep in mind that Mizzou uses a holistic admissions review process that takes various factors into account, such as standardized test scores (optional as of now), coursework rigor, extracurricular activities, personal qualities, and other factors. While having a GPA in the middle 50% range or higher can be advantageous, it's equally important to focus on these other aspects of your application.

That being said, if you can maintain a GPA above 3.0, you'll be in a competitive range for Mizzou. If possible, aim for a higher GPA close to or above 3.9 to strengthen your chances even further. Remember to balance your academic performance with solid extracurricular involvement and well-written application essays.
