What about SAT test content?

I'm also curious about the SAT. Anyone who has taken the test mind telling me what I should expect in it? Like, what are the main sections and what kind of questions do they ask?

The SAT is a standardized test that measures your skills in two main areas: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math. Since spring 2024, the SAT has become fully digital, and here is the current structure of the test:

1. Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: This section is divided into two modules, each 32 minutes long. In total, you'll have to complete 54 questions in 64 minutes. The questions focus on reading comprehension and analytical abilities. You'll read passages from literature, history, social studies, and science, and answer multiple-choice questions based on the content, author's intent, and the relationship between the passages and graphics (such as tables or graphs).

2. Math: This section also consists of two modules, each 35 minutes long, with a total of 44 questions to complete in 70 minutes. The Math section tests your problem-solving skills and knowledge of algebra, geometry, and some basic trigonometry. The math questions involve multiple-choice, grid-in (where you will fill in your own numerical answer), and multiple-select questions (where you can choose more than one correct answer). You are allowed to use a calculator for both math modules, as there is no longer a no-calculator section.

In total, the digital SAT takes 134 minutes to complete 98 questions across both areas. To prepare for the test, you can use resources like Khan Academy and the Bluebook™ app, which have practice materials and full-length tests designed to help you familiarize yourself with the content and question types on the SAT.

The key to performing well on the SAT is to develop a strong understanding of key concepts in reading, writing, and math, along with honing your test-taking strategies and time management skills. Good luck with your preparations!
