SC State majors available?

Hey everyone! I'm starting my college search and I've been looking into South Carolina State University. Can anyone help me find information about the majors they offer there? I'm particularly interested in engineering and business. Thanks in advance!

Hello! South Carolina State University (SC State) has a diverse range of majors, including programs in engineering and business. For engineering, some of the Bachelor of Science degrees you can earn are in the following disciplines:

1. Civil Engineering

2. Electrical Engineering Technology

3. Industrial Engineering

4. Mechanical Engineering

5. Nuclear Engineering

As for business, SC State has a School of Business, which offers degree programs including:

1. Agribusiness

2. Accounting

3. Business Economics

4. Management (with specialization tracks available)

5. Marketing

These options should give you a good idea of the engineering and business majors available at SC State. For more detailed information about the full range of options, including opportunities to specialize within one of these broad areas, I'd recommend reaching out to SC State's admissions office, or even directly to representatives of the departments you're interested in.

Finally, if you're looking for ways to pursue your passions while still in high school, check out the following blog posts from CollegeVine, which list a range of summer programs related to engineering and business for high school students:

- Engineering: https://blog.collegevine.com/high-school-engineering-summer-programs

- Business: https://blog.collegevine.com/high-school-business-summer-programs/

Participating in one could give you a clearer sense of which path would be right for you (or potentially even how to explore the two together, in an interdisciplinary way), and could even give you a boost during the college process, as admissions officers love to see that you're taking initiative and exploring your interests outside of the classroom!

Good luck with your college search!
