LMU GPA Calculator?

Hey everyone, I'm looking into applying to Loyola Marymount University and was wondering if there's a specific GPA calculator I could use that'd accurately show how LMU calculates my GPA. Thanks in advance!

Hey there! While LMU doesn't have a specific GPA calculator made by the university itself, you can still use a general GPA calculator to get a pretty accurate idea of your GPA as calculated by LMU. There are many GPA calculators online that allow you to input your semester grades and use a weighted scale based on the type of courses you took (AP, IB, Honors, etc.).

Keep in mind that LMU, like most universities, focuses on your core courses (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language) when calculating your GPA. So, while using a GPA calculator, ensure that you're only including those relevant courses to arrive at a more accurate GPA estimate.

It's also important to remember that the admissions process is holistic, so while your GPA is a significant factor, other aspects of your application—like SAT/ACT scores, essays, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation—will also impact your chances of admission. Good luck with your application!
