What GPA is needed for a good shot at getting into IUPUI?

I'm considering applying to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and I'm curious about the GPA they're looking for in high school applicants. Can anyone give me some advice?

IUPUI is a moderately selective institution, but it's still important to have a strong GPA to increase your chances of being admitted. According to the most recent data available, the average high school GPA of admitted students at IUPUI is around 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. That being said, your GPA is not the only factor they'll consider in the admissions process.

While having a GPA of 3.5 or higher will give you a better chance at being admitted, don't be discouraged if your GPA is lower. IUPUI also takes into account other aspects of your application, such as standardized test scores (if submitted), your class rigor, extracurricular activities, and in some cases, essays and letters of recommendation. Therefore, even if your GPA isn't as high as you'd like it to be, a strong application in other areas can still make you a competitive candidate.

It's important to focus on maintaining or improving your GPA, but also pay attention to building a well-rounded application that showcases your strengths across multiple domains.
