Georgia Southern SAT Scores?

Hey guys, I'm a junior and starting to research colleges. I'm currently considering Georgia Southern. What SAT scores do they typically accept? Any advice would be awesome!

Hi! Georgia Southern University's admissions process is considered less selective. To give you an idea of the SAT score range for admitted students, the middle 50% SAT scores typically fall between 990 and 1200. This means that 25% of admitted students score below 990, and another 25% score above 1200. Keep in mind that these numbers are just a rough indication, and there is no strict cutoff.

A score within this range should make you competitive for admission; however, other factors such as your GPA, high school coursework, and extracurricular activities will also play a significant role in the admissions process. If you already have an SAT score in that range or higher, you can focus on strengthening your application in other areas like writing strong essays and making your extracurricular activities stand out. If your current score is below the range, consider taking the SAT again or working on ways to improve your score, though it's still possible to be admitted with a lower score.

Remember that Georgia Southern, like many other universities, holistically evaluates applicants, so having a strong SAT score is just one part of a complete application. Good luck in your college search!
