When do Early Action decisions usually get released?

Hey everyone, I'm planning on applying Early Action to a few schools on my list. I was just curious about when I might expect to receive the decisions for those applications. Is there a general timeframe or does it vary significantly between schools? I'm hoping to have a better understanding of the timeline, so any help would be appreciated!

Hi there! Early Action decisions usually get released around mid-December, but the specific date can vary from school to school. Some schools may release decisions even earlier, in late November or early December, while others might take a bit more time. Additionally, if the school you're applying to has a rolling admissions process, then you can hear back within a couple of weeks, even if you submit your application in September or October.

It's important to keep an eye on the colleges' websites, and on your email for any information regarding decision release dates. In most cases, they will provide some kind of indication or announcement as the time approaches. If you're applying to a large number of schools with Early Action deadlines, it may be helpful to even make a spreadsheet to keep track of all the important dates.

While it's normal to be a little anxious about decision day, try not to let the nerves overwhelm you. It's a very exciting time too, and I'm sure you'll find the best fit for you in the end. Good luck with your applications!
