Oswego GPA Calculator?

Hey guys, I've been trying to calculate my GPA for SUNY Oswego, but I'm kinda lost. Does anyone know a reliable Oswego GPA calculator out there? What scale does Oswego use (4.0, 5.0, etc.)? Thanks a lot!

SUNY Oswego uses a 4.0 GPA scale, with an unweighted GPA being the most commonly used for college admissions. To calculate your GPA, you can use a general 4.0 GPA calculator which you can find online - there are multiple sites and tools available to do this.

Here's a basic outline of the GPA calculation process on a 4.0 scale:

1. Assign a point value to each of your letter grades (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0). For plus/minus grading systems, you can use: A+=4.3, A=4, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3, B-=2.7, and so on.

2. Multiply the point value by the number of credits for each course. For example, if you have an A in a 3-credit course, it would be 4 (A) x 3 (credits) = 12 points.

3. Add up the total points for all your courses.

4. Divide the total points by the total number of credits.

Keep in mind that this will give you an unweighted GPA. If you took any honors, AP, or IB courses, you might have a weighted GPA that takes those advanced courses into account.

Remember to check SUNY Oswego's website and admissions materials for any specific GPA guidelines or requirements for your application. Good luck!
