Is a 34 on the ACT good enough for most Ivy League universities?

I recently got a 34 on my ACT and I'm hoping to apply to some Ivy League schools. Is that score competitive enough for these institutions, or should I try to improve it? Thanks in advance for your advice!

First of all, congratulations on your impressive 34 ACT score! To answer your question, a 34 ACT score is indeed competitive for most Ivy League universities. It's important to remember, though, that admissions decisions are based on various factors, including your transcript, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation. It's not just your ACT score that determines your acceptance.

If you have a strong overall profile, a 34 ACT score could be enough for your application. However, if you feel you can improve your score further and have the time without neglecting your other responsibilities, there's no harm in retaking the test. Just remember, Ivy League schools have their unique institutional priorities and holistic review processes when evaluating a candidate. In the end, it's a combination of factors that will make the difference.

Good luck with your applications, and know that a 34 on the ACT is an excellent score that demonstrates your academic potential and readiness for college!
