How to calculate college GPA at Texas A&M?

I'm considering applying to Texas A&M and was wondering how they calculate college GPA. Do they use a different scale than the standard 4.0, or is it the same? Also, does Texas A&M weigh honors/AP classes differently?

At Texas A&M University, they primarily use the standard 4.0 GPA scale when evaluating applicants. The scale is as follows:

B = 3.0

C = 2.0

D = 1.0

However, Texas A&M does take your high school's weighting system into account if it's provided on your transcript.
