Calculating my GPA for ETSU?

I'm a high school junior and I'm really interested in attending East Tennessee State University (ETSU). How can I calculate my GPA according to ETSU's standards? Is there a reliable calculator or method I should use? Any help would be amazing!

Calculating your GPA according to ETSU's standards is relatively simple. ETSU uses a 4.0 grading scale, where grades are assigned point values as follows:

- A = 4.0

- B = 3.0

- C = 2.0

- D = 1.0

- F = 0.0

To calculate your GPA, take the following steps:

1. Convert each of your course letter grades to their corresponding point value using the scale above.

2. Multiply the point value for each course by the number of credit hours the course is worth. This will give you the "weighted" points for each course.

3. Add all the weighted points together.

4. Add the total number of credit hours from all your courses.

5. Divide the sum of the weighted points by the total number of credit hours.

Keep in mind that since ETSU uses an unweighted GPA, honors, AP and IB courses will not hold any extra weight in the calculation.

You can also use a simple online GPA calculator to help you with the process. Be sure to use an unweighted GPA calculator and double-check the conversion scale used by the calculator to ensure it aligns with ETSU's grading scale.
