What time are early decisions typically released?

I'm planning on applying early decision to some selective schools (like Brown and MIT), and to be honest, I'm getting nervous about the process. Does anyone have an idea of when early decision results usually come out? Do they all come out on the same day, or can results be released on different days? Thanks in advance!

It's completely normal to feel nervous about the college admissions process, especially when it comes to waiting for early decision results. I'm glad you're reaching out for support! Early decision notifications for most schools are typically released in mid-December. However, each school may have a slightly different timeline for releasing their results, so it's not guaranteed that they will all come out on the same day. In fact, some schools may release results within a date range (for example, between December 10-15) instead of a specific date.

For Brown and MIT, you can expect to receive your early decision results around mid-December, but it's always a good idea to check each school's admissions website for the most up-to-date information on release dates. Best of luck to you in this process, and remember to stay patient and optimistic! The wait can be tough, but it will be worth it in the end.
