Most Challenging AP Test?

Hey y'all, I'm just starting to plan out my AP tests for next year. I wanna know—in your experience or from what you've heard, which AP test was the most difficult for you? Would love to know your thoughts and why you think it's tough!

From what I've observed over time, many students find AP Calculus BC to be quite challenging due to its advanced mathematical content, which includes integral and differential calculus. The curriculum moves at a faster pace compared to AP Calculus AB and also covers more topics. It's why a lot of students find it a steep step up from Pre-Calculus or even Calculus AB.

That said, another subject that often pops up in these discussions is AP Physics C. Again, the complexity of the subject matter is a big factor. In addition to understanding complex physics concepts, you will also be required to apply calculus in solving problems, which makes it doubly challenging.

However, a third contender that often comes up is AP English Literature and Composition, but for entirely different reasons. Students find it hard due to the breadth of the reading and the depth of analytical thinking required. The texts are often complex and dense, and students need to develop insightful, unique interpretations and arguments.

Ultimately, what you'll find most difficult can depend on your strengths and weaknesses. If you're a math whizz but not big on reading and analyzing literature, you might find Calculus BC easier than English. The best suggestion would be to choose AP classes that align with your academic interests and future plans. To handle any difficult AP course, remember to understand the depth of the course content, keep up with coursework, and consistent review for the AP exam.
