Need some info: where is Baylor University located?

Hey all, I've been exploring colleges lately and Baylor University caught my eye. I'm not from the States, so I literally have no idea where it is. Could anyone tell me where it is located and some interesting facts around the area? Thanks!

Baylor University is located in the city of Waco in the state of Texas, United States. It's in the heart of Texas, about halfway between Dallas and Austin.

The city of Waco is known for its family-friendly community and cultural attractions. Its downtown area has seen a revival with stores, restaurants, and galleries attracting visitors and locals alike. Some of the well-known attractions include the Dr. Pepper Museum—yes, the soft drink was invented in Waco, and the Magnolia Market at the Silos, owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of the popular HGTV show 'Fixer Upper'.

Additionally, Waco is home to Cameron Park, which is one of the largest municipal parks in the U.S. It's loved for the hiking and biking trails, disc golf, and scenic outlooks over the Brazos and Bosque rivers. Waco is also where the Brazos River, the longest river in Texas, flows - offering plenty of options for water-based activities like fishing and kayaking. Plus, Baylor's campus is beautiful and sits right on the Brazos River.

Texas is also known for its warm climate. Average high temperatures range from 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15.5 degrees Celsius) in winter to around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) in the summer. The state is generally sunny, and Waco gets over 230 days of sunshine per year.

It's always good to research a university's location in addition to other offerings to see if it would be a good fit for you culturally and socially.
