Has anyone majored in Business Management at CSUN?

I was wondering if the business management program at CSUN is well-regarded? What are the classes and professors like? Do they offer good opportunities for internships or connections in the industry?

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) has a reputable College of Business and Economics that offers a Business Administration degree with an option in Management.

The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in broad business functions, along with the opportunity to develop management-related skills. Some classes you might take include Introduction to Management, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior, among others.

Regarding professors, they come from a variety of backgrounds, and many have considerable experience in the industry. Some students have found them to be knowledgeable in their respective fields and helpful in providing real-life examples. However, as with any university, experiences with professors can vary, and it's a good idea to use resources like office hours and tutoring centers if you find yourself struggling with a particular course.

CSUN offers its students a number of opportunities for internships and networking. The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics has an on-campus career education and professional development center that organizes numerous career-related events throughout the year. These include career fairs, networking events, and workshops, providing students direct access to companies and industries. The center also offers specialized resources and advising to help students secure internships and full-time positions after graduation.

Keep in mind that it's your initiative that's the most important. Be proactive in joining clubs, attending events, and seeking internships. Get to know your professors and peers, as they can also be helpful connections in the future. Best of luck on your academic journey!
