Good Division III Hockey Programs?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find some solid Division III schools with great hockey programs. I'm hoping for a school where hockey is a big deal but where I can still focus on my academics. Any suggestions?

Sure, there are quite a few Division III schools with strong hockey programs and an excellent academic focus.

Up north, you might consider looking into Middlebury College and Norwich University in Vermont. Both have a reputation for their men's and women's hockey teams and also excel in academics. Middlebury is known for a robust liberal arts education and Norwich offers a variety of programs, including very strong engineering and nursing.

On the west side, you could consider St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. They have a highly successful men's hockey program and offer well-regarded programs in Business and Biology.

In the northeast, you should check out Plattsburgh State (SUNY) and Oswego State (SUNY) in New York. They both have very competitive hockey teams and a wide array of degree programs.

In New England, Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, has a successful hockey program. This school is well-regarded for its rigorous academics and strong coursework.

Just remember, ensure to visit these colleges if possible and do additional research to see which one fits your academic and athletic needs the best.
