Athletics at Clark University: Are they D1?

Hi everyone! I'm a junior athletic student and I've been considering Clark University as one of my options. Does anyone know if they have a D1 athletic program? Sports are a big part of my life and I'd love to continue that in my college career. Any info would be really helpful!

Clark University, located in Worcester, Massachusetts, actually competes at the NCAA Division III level, not Division I. They are a part of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).

In DIII, the focus is more on balance between athletics and academics. The level of competitiveness can still be very high, but there won't be athletic scholarships offered like in DI and DII. This could be a good fit depending on what you're looking for out of your college sports experience.

It’s also good to note that Clark has a variety of sports programs, including soccer, basketball, swimming and diving, lacrosse, and more. While the level of play might be different from a D1 school, many athletes find D3 athletics to be a great fit for them and their college goals. Good luck!
