UCSD Statistics Major, What's it like?

Hi everyone, I'm quite interested in statistics and UCSD seems like a great school. Can anyone speak to the quality of the program there? What's the coursework like, and what type of opportunities are available to students?

UCSD’s Department of Mathematics, which encompasses the statistics major, is highly respected and offers comprehensive academic and hands-on opportunities.
