Best schools for undergrad computer engineering?

Hey! I'm a junior trying to narrow down my college list. I'm really into computer engineering, and I'm looking for schools with top undergrad programs. Does anyone have recommendations or know where I could find a ranking list?

From what I know, there are several colleges that are known for having exceptional computer engineering programs.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) certainly stands out as a leader in the field due to its commitment to cutting-edge research.

Stanford University is also well-regarded for its computer engineering program. With a strong emphasis on practical applications, Stanford prepares students for a wide array of careers in the field.

University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) also offers a top-notch computer engineering program that's known for its research and innovation.

Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science is also highly respected and offers a Computer Engineering track.

The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are public schools with top engineering programs as well.

I would suggest considering not just rankings but also the overall fit of these schools with your own personal and academic interests. Look into special programs, research opportunities, or faculty you'd want to work with. It might seem a little early, but you might want to also consider factors such as post-graduate job opportunities and graduate programs.

In terms of rankings, U.S. News and World Report releases an annual list of top engineering schools. You might find this useful in your research, but remember, these are just guides. Make sure to visit the schools (if you can), speak with current students, and faculty if possible.
