How well-regarded is UMN's finance major?

Hello! I'm looking into the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and am considering their finance major. Can any current students or alumni share their experiences with the major and its reputation? Thanks!

From my understanding, the University of Minnesota Twin Cities (UMN) has a solid finance major within the Carlson School of Management. While the program may not have the same prestige as finance programs at top business schools like Wharton or Sloan, UMN's Carlson School consistently ranks among the top 50 business schools in the United States.

The curriculum covers a good mix of subjects, such as financial markets, investment strategies, financial statement analysis, and corporate finance. In addition, the school frequently brings in industry experts as guest lecturers to provide students with real-world insights into the finance world.
