Hi everyone, I've been trying to research more about the University of California system for my college apps, but I'm a tad confused about just how many campuses there are. Also, does applying to one mean you're applying to all or should I apply to each individually?
There are 9 undergraduate campuses in the University of California system. These include UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz.
As for your second question, each University of California campus requires its own application. Although there's only one application form through the UC system's online platform, you will select each campus you wish to apply to individually through this application. You'll pay an application fee for each campus, as well. The same application will be sent to each of the campuses you select, so make sure your application is broad enough to cover all the UC schools you are interested in. Keep in mind application deadlines and any specific requirements for each campus or major.
