Nebraska University's Academic Ranking?

Hi, I'm feeling kind of lost. I've been considering the University of Nebraska but can't quite gauge its academic ranking. The ones I found online are all different. Anyone has any insights or trusted sources I can refer?

When considering academic rankings, it's crucial to remember that the scores can vary significantly based on the criteria set by different ranking organizations. These criteria could include things like research output, student satisfaction, faculty qualifications, etc.

As per U.S. News & World Report (a widely trusted source), for the year 2024-2025, the University of Nebraska--Lincoln (I assumed Lincoln since you didn't specify) is ranked #159 in National Universities.

For fields of study-specific rankings, they have several programs that are highly ranked. For example, their online MBA program is ranked #29 nationally.

However, rankings should be one of many factors you consider when choosing a college. Other things like fit (cultural, academic, financial), campus culture, location, student-to-faculty ratio, and availability of majors/minors that interest you, can often be equally, if not more, important.

I'd advise visiting the university website, reaching out to current students, and possibly arranging a campus visit if you haven't already. This will give you a firsthand look at the school beyond just numbers.
