Early Action vs Early Decision: Which to Choose?

Hey guys! I'm a high school junior looking into colleges, and I feel a bit overwhelmed about whether I should apply early action or early decision. I understand the main differences between the two; however, I'm having difficulty determining which would be best for my situation. Could anyone here share their experiences or give advice about which option might be best? Thanks a ton!

Hey there! Choosing between Early Action (EA) and Early Decision (ED) depends a lot on how certain you are about your top-choice school. If there's one school you're absolutely in love with and you're definitely ready to commit, then ED could be a great choice. Just remember, it's binding!

EA is a good choice if you like several schools equally and want some flexibility. Plus, EA gives you the benefit of receiving an early answer without the commitment, allowing you to compare financial aid offers later on. If you're leaning towards a particular school but you're not 100% set, I would recommend EA. Also, consider applying to a couple of safeties and matches through EA to keep your options open.
