What are the popular majors at UCI?

Hey folks, I'm looking into UCI for next fall. I've got a bunch of interests (STEM, humanities, social sciences), but I'd like to know what majors are most popular there. Looking to make an informed decision, so any help is great.

UC Irvine is a versatile university with a variety of majors that attract students! Some of the most popular majors at UCI include Business, Social Psychology, and Biology.

The Business major is quite robust, with a concentration on topics like management, marketing, and information systems. The Biological Sciences major is popular due in part to UCI's strong emphasis on research opportunities that present students the chance to dive deep into subjects of interest, making it a notable choice for pre-med students. Social Psychology, as part of the Social Ecology program, focuses on the relationship between people and their social groups and environments, a unique perspective that draws many students.

In recent years, Computer Science has also garnered popularity on campus as the tech field continues to expand; the same holds true for Public Health, another rapidly growing field.

Program selection just doesn't end here, UCI offers a spectrum of magnificent opportunities in the form of academic units across the STEM fields, humanities, and social sciences. Consider researching more about each major to find the best fit for you. Remember, it's also perfectly acceptable to enter college as an undeclared or undecided major. It's not unusual for students to change their majors during their college careers as they discover new passions and interest areas.
