Hey everyone, bit of a simple question here, but where exactly is Northwestern? I've heard Chicago and I've heard Evanston, so I'm kinda confused. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks!
Northwestern University is located in Evanston, Illinois. Evanston is a city that's just north of Chicago, so when people say Northwestern is in Chicago, they're usually emphasizing the university's close proximity to the city. In fact, the campus is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chicago. The university also has a campus in Chicago dedicated to the Kellogg School of Management, the law school, and parts of the medical school. So in essence, Northwestern exists in both Evanston and Chicago!
