What SAT score should I aim for UGA?

Hey fellas, UGA is my dream school. I'm studying as much as I can for the SAT, but what's the target score for UGA? Thanks in advance for any guidance!

When considering the University of Georgia (UGA) and wanting to aim for a competitive SAT score, you should look at the average SAT scores of previously admitted students. For the class that entered UGA in 2023, the SAT middle 50% was between 1230 and 1410. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1230 and another 25% scored above 1410.

If UGA is your dream school, you should aim for an SAT score in the upper part of this range to increase your chances of admission. So, anything in or above the 75th percentile (1410) would make your application more competitive. Remember, though, that the tests are only one part of your application, and having a high score does not guarantee admission. They'll also be looking at your GPA, your extracurricular activities, your essays, and letters of recommendation, among other things.

Keep on working hard, and put your best foot forward on all parts of your application. Best of luck with your studies and your application to UGA!
