Which colleges have Track and Field teams?

Yo peeps! I'm really passionate about track and field and I'm hoping to keep up with it in college. Anyone know colleges with good track and field teams, preferably ones where the athletes seem to enjoy their experience? Open to all divisions (D1, D2, D3).

You're on the right track (no pun intended)! Many colleges across the U.S. have track and field teams, each with its own distinct culture, training regimen, and competitive spirit. Here are a few examples across various NCAA divisions:

For Division I, you might want to consider colleges like the University of Oregon, Texas A&M University, and the University of Georgia, all of which have strong programs. These institutions have a history of excelling in track and field competitions at the highest level.

Division II schools such as Grand Valley State University in Michigan and Adams State University in Colorado also have well-regarded track and field teams.

For Division III, you can consider schools like Williams College in Massachusetts or UW-La Crosse in Wisconsin. These colleges maintain a balance of academic rigors and athletic competition, often allowing athletes to enjoy a more rounded college experience.

Remember, it's equally important that the school aligns with your academic and social preferences too. Additionally, reaching out to the athletics department or current athletes can provide valuable insight into how the athletes find their experiences.

Finally, try using the NCAA site or a similar resource to browse schools based on sport and division - it's a great tool when starting your college list!
