Hey guys, I just took the ACT exam and I'm a little bit on edge. How long does it normally take for the results to come out? I'm super anxious. Thanks in advance!
Typically, ACT scores start to become available online within 10 days after you take the test. However, it can sometimes take up to 8 weeks for written essay scores (if you took the ACT with Writing) to be posted. Also note that it could take several additional days for colleges to receive scores after they're posted online.
So, it's normal to feel anxious in this waiting period, but rest assured, the scores should be out soon. Remember, once they're available, you'll receive an email from the ACT telling you to view your scores on your ACT web account. Try to focus on other areas of your application in the meantime. Good luck!
