SAT Model Questions

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find high-quality model questions for the SAT to practice with. Any website or book recommendations that come close to the actual feel of the SAT? Thanks in advance!

Sure thing! The College Board, the organization that administers the SAT, provides official SAT practice tests, so they'll be closest to the real deal. They offer 10 full-length practice tests on their website free of charge. Additionally, they've partnered with Khan Academy to bring a personalized SAT practice plan using diagnostics from these tests.

In terms of print materials, you might want to look into "The Official SAT Study Guide" published by College Board. Also, the "College Panda's SAT Math: Advanced Guide and Workbook for the New SAT" and "The Critical Reader: The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar" can provide solid, targeted prep for the Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sections respectively.

Another resource is the Bluebook™ app which allows you to practice the SAT in the new digital format with real SATs.

Remember, it's important to time your practice like the real exam. The structure of the digital SAT is:

- Reading and Writing: two 32-minute modules, to complete 54 questions. You have about 71 seconds per question.

- Math: two 35-minute modules, to complete 44 questions. You have 96 seconds per question, or a little over a minute and a half.

And the total duration is 134 minutes, to complete 98 questions. So, ensuring you're comfortable with the timing is almost as crucial as getting the questions right. Happy studying, and best of luck!
