UNC-Chapel Hill SAT Scores

Yo everyone! I'm keen on applying to UNC-Chapel Hill next year. Can anyone share their knowledge on the average SAT score range there? I'm a little stressed about this and want to make sure I'm aiming for the right scores.

Hello! First, take a deep breath and remember that standardized tests like the SAT are only one aspect of a college application. That being said, to be most competitive for UNC-Chapel Hill, your SAT score should fall within a certain range. As of last year's class, the middle 50% SAT score range was between 1370 and 1500.

Just keep in mind that these numbers signify the 25th and 75th percentile scores, so students have been admitted with scores both below and above this range!

Nobody can guarantee that a certain score will result in an admission offer, given that colleges consider a wide range of factors in their decision-making process. However, having a score within that range can surely increase your chances. So use this as a guideline to set your target score!

Last but not least, remember to balance studying for the SAT with keeping up your grades, participating in meaningful extracurricular activities, and preparing other parts of your UNC-Chapel Hill application. Good luck!
