Eastern Carolina University GPA requirements?

Hello there, I am considering applying to Eastern Carolina University next year and was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark figure for their GPA requirements? I've read a lot of different things online and am a bit confused. Is my 3.6 unweighted GPA competitive at all? Would love any advice or insight!

Typically, admissions data such as GPA statistics can fluctuate year to year due to the characteristics of the applicant pool, but getting a general idea of previous years can certainly help you evaluate how competitive your application might be.

When it comes to Eastern Carolina University, GPA expectations can vary based on the information available, so it's understandable why you may find conflicting reports. However, for recent years, the average high school GPA of incoming freshman admitted to ECU is approximately around 3.3. This implies that your 3.6 unweighted GPA is above the average, which is certainly a good sign!

That said, keep in mind that your GPA isn't the only factor in your application. Other components such as quality of your coursework, your SAT or ACT scores, and extracurricular activities, can make a significant difference as well. So while your GPA is a major factor, a strong applicant profile will be well-rounded and reflective of a student's skills, interests, and potential in multiple areas.

I hope this is helpful and best of luck with your college application process!
