Florida Atlantic University SAT Requirements?

I'm aiming to apply to Florida Atlantic University, but I'm unsure about their SAT requirements. Would anyone happen to know what score range they usually accept? Or is it more flexible depending on the rest of your application?

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) requires students to submit their SAT scores as part of their application. However, they do not set a strict cutoff for these scores. Instead, the university considers applicants holistically, which means they look at more than just your test scores when making admissions decisions.

That said, the middle 50% SAT range for admitted students at FAU is typically anywhere between 1080 and 1240. This means 25% of students score below 1080, while another 25% score above 1240. But again, this range is simply a guideline, and there are students who are accepted with scores below and above this range.

The rest of your application, such as your GPA, your extracurricular activities, and your essays also play a significant role in the admissions process. So, if your SAT scores are a little lower than the average, but you have a high GPA or some excellent Tier 1-Tier 3 extracurricular activities, you may still have a good chance of being admitted.

Keep all these factors in mind when preparing your application and remember – your SAT score is just one piece of your overall application.
