What average GPA is Rutgers looking for?

I'm a junior and Rutgers is on my list of potential schools. Does anyone know what their average GPA is? Want to see if my GPA aligns with what they typically expect.

Rutgers University, particularly the New Brunswick campus, is generally competitive. According to their official admissions statistics for the last few years, the typical incoming Rutgers New Brunswick student tends to have a GPA in the range of 3.6 - 4.2 on a weighted scale. However, the Newark and Camden campuses have slightly lower average GPAs.

Please note that these numbers can fluctuate from year to year and are subject to change. While a strong GPA is certainly important, remember that Rutgers—like many institutions—adopts a holistic approach to admissions and will consider other factors as well, such as your course rigor, extracurricular involvement, application essays, and recommendations. So even if your GPA is slightly below the averages mentioned, if the rest of your application is compelling, you could still be considered a strong candidate.
