Can anyone tell me the typical accepted GPA for UCLA?

Hey there! I'm currently interested in applying to UCLA, but no clue about what GPA range they're looking for. Has anyone got some insights about that? I would be really grateful.

Hello! According to the University of California's official data, for the most recent admission cycle at UCLA, the GPA range for admitted students was between 4.18 and 4.32 on a weighted 4.0 scale. Given this range, it appears that the university highly favors students who perform exceptionally well academically. However, remember that GPA is only one component of your application. UCLA, like many other universities, employs a holistic review process, meaning that they look at other aspects including extracurricular activities, teacher recommendation letters, and essays, among other factors.

Make sure to also work on building a balanced profile featuring strong extracurriculars and effective essays. Also, remember that these are just averages - students with GPAs both below and above these ranges are admitted every year. Good luck!
