Hey y'all, I'm getting myself organized for college applications and I was wondering if anyone knew the exact application deadline for MIT? Do they have different deadlines for early decision and regular decision? Thanks for the help in advance!
MIT's application schedule is a bit distinctive. They offer two ways to apply: Early Action and Regular Action.
The deadline for Early Action is November 1. If you apply through this route, your decision notification will be posted online on December 15.
The deadline for Regular Action is January 4. You will receive your decision by mid-March, typically March 14.
Please be sure to spend ample time curating a strong application. MIT looks for applicants who possess exceptional academic prowess, but they also value demonstrations of creativity, strength of character, and alignment with the institute's mission. Try to have all the parts of your application, including your essays and letters of recommendation, to showcase these qualities about you.
