Which Colleges Offer Early Action?

I’m looking to apply Early Action to get a jump on admissions decisions. Can anyone suggest some colleges that offer this option? Thanks in advance.

Sure, I'm happy to provide a list of some colleges that offer Early Action (EA) admissions:

1. University of Chicago: This is a highly competitive school that offers EA to students. EA at UChicago is non-binding, which means you can apply to other schools and are not required to attend if accepted.

2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): MIT offers EA, and it's also non-binding. They release decisions in mid-December.

3. Georgetown University: They also have a non-binding EA option. However, if you apply EA to Georgetown, you're not permitted to apply Early Decision to another school.

4. Caltech: This school offers EA, and like MIT, their decisions are typically released in mid-December.

5. University of Michigan: UMichigan's EA deadline is typically in early November, and they release decisions on a rolling basis starting in late January.

Remember, EA can be a great way to hear back from colleges ahead of Regular Decision applicants, but the decision to apply EA should be made carefully. Make sure you've taken the time to fully research and visit (virtually or physically) the schools you're considering applying EA to, and that you have your application materials in order well before the EA deadline. Also, keep in mind that EA admissions can sometimes be just as competitive, if not more so, than Regular Decision. Good luck with your applications!
