Clemson University SAT Requirements?

Hello community! Does anyone know what the SAT requirement is for Clemson University? I'm quite stressed about my scores and don't know if they're high enough for Clemson. Any insight would be appreciated!

Clemson University typically publishes the middle 50% SAT scores of its admitted students. For the Fall 2023 first-year class, this range was from 1240 to 1400. This doesn't mean you need to score within this range to be admitted, but it gives you an idea of the typical academic profile of accepted students.

If you scored below this range, don't worry too much—applications are reviewed holistically, which means they consider more than just your test scores. Your personal statement, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and academic performance throughout high school are also important factors in the admissions process.

However, if you feel that your SAT score is not representative of your academic potential, you might consider taking the test again. This could improve your chances, provided your scores increase significantly. But remember that an application is a total package, not just a snapshot of one exam's results.

Lastly, keep in mind that above all, your coursework and grades in high school are the most important part of your application to Clemson. A strong academic record can sometimes outweigh one lower standardized test score. So, continue working hard in your classes and take the most challenging coursework available to you.

Good luck with your application to Clemson! You're definitely on the right track by being proactive and seeking advice.
