Hello everyone! I was just curious about the AP Environmental Science course. For those who have taken it, can you share your experiences? How difficult was it compared to other AP courses? What topics did you find most interesting, or challenging?
Hey! I took AP Environmental Science and I honestly found it very fascinating. It delved into a lot of interesting topics, from geology and geography to biology and chemistry – it's truly multidisciplinary. In comparison to other AP classes, it was a bit less demanding. Not to say it's an easy A, but if you consistently put in effort and stay organized, you should do just fine.
One of the highlights was learning how different parts of the environment interact with each other and the impact human activities have on these interactions. The climate change and renewable energy topics were particularly interesting to me.
On the other hand, one challenging part was all the memorization required for certain ecological concepts. But remember, AP courses are meant to be demanding as they are college-level courses. Reviewing regularly and keeping up with the reading are critical – it's an expansive field so don't leave everything until the last minute! Hope this helps.
