Resources for SAT Grammar

Hello friends, English isn't my first language and I'm quite stressed about the grammar section of the SAT. Any suggestions for resources that could help me with SAT grammar rules?

Hello! Your concern is shared by many non-native English speakers, so don't worry - you are not alone!

The College Board, which is the organization that administers the SAT, provides free resources that can be used to study such as Khan Academy. Khan Academy has an SAT preparation section where you can find excellent resources and exercises specifically tailored for the SAT, including grammar. They've collaborated with the College Board, so the content is aligned directly with what you will find on the SAT.

For a more detailed review, Erica Meltzer's 'The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar' is a book that specifically focuses on the grammar rules you need to master for the SAT. This resource explains grammar rules in an easy-to-understand way and provides many practice questions for each rule.

Finally, remember that consistent practice is key, especially with something like English grammar, which generally requires a high level familiarity before it starts to feel simple. Beyond SAT-specific practice, reading in English as much as possible can help your brain become accustomed to English sentence structures and grammar rules.

Or, if you also want more general guidance on how to prepare for the SAT, I'd check out CollegeVine's series of free SAT-focused blog posts: https://blog.collegevine.com/category/standardized-tests/sat/. There's even a post on grammar specifically (!), which you can access here: https://blog.collegevine.com/commonly-missed-sat-grammar-rules

Just remember to pace your studies to avoid burnout, take regular breaks, and try to make your studying as interactive as possible. Practice makes progress! Good luck with your preparations!
