Stressing out a bit here. Just took my ACT, does anyone know how long it typically takes for scores to be released? Any help keeping my anxiety in check would be greatly appreciated!
I can certainly understand why you would be anxious to receive your ACT scores, but try not to stress too much! Typically, multiple-choice scores for the ACT start to become available online 10 days after the test date. However, note that this time frame is a general guideline and it may take a bit longer.
Writing scores take a bit longer to process and usually become available about two weeks after your multiple-choice scores have been posted. In some cases, you may have to wait up to five or six weeks to see a fully complete score report if you took the writing portion.
Remember, this process is happening for all students who took the test, so delays are to be expected. It's important to have patience during this period. Keep yourself busy with other tasks or hobbies and before you know it, your scores will be in!
