Can anyone list some D3 Basketball Schools?

Hey there, I'm a big basketball player, but I'm not really Division 1 material. I've been looking into Division 3 schools instead. Could anyone list some D3 schools known for their basketball programs? Thanks!

Sure, there are many impressive D3 schools known for their basketball programs. Here are a few:

1. Amherst College - Their men's team has had fairly consistent success over the years, including multiple appearances in the NCAA Division III tournament finals.

2. Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) - Both men's and women's teams have won multiple national championships.

3. Williams College - With a traditionally strong men's team, they've reached the NCAA tournament finals on several occasions.

4. University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point - Known for their amazing men's team, which made it to the NCAA tournament a dozen times in the last two decades.

5. Hope College - Both men's and women's basketball have had considerable success in the MIAA, with multiple championship wins.

6. University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) - The women's team showed excellent performance with frequent NCAA DIII tournament runs.

Remember, these are just a few examples. There are many more exceptional NCAA Division III colleges out there worth considering. It might be beneficial to visit some of these colleges or reach out to members of their basketball programs to get a better feel for what participating in college basketball might look like at the D3 level.
