SAT Test Centers

Alright, so it's the SAT season and I'm gearing up for it. But I'm not really sure where to give the test. Where can I find out about locations where I can take the SAT?

To locate SAT test centers, you need to visit the College Board’s website. When you're signing up for the SAT, there's a section of the registration process where you'll search for test locations and dates. This search is based on your zip code or city name.

Once you type in your location, the system will generate a list of test centers near you. Remember, the earlier you register, the more likely you are to secure a seat at your preferred location. Some of these venues can fill up quickly, especially during peak testing months such as October, March, and May.

Do bear in mind, though, that though the SAT is now digitally administered, you still need to take the exam at a designated testing center. As such, it’s important to pick a place where you’re most likely to feel comfortable and perform at your best.

While registering, also factor in the travel time to the test center. It's a good idea to choose a location that’s familiar or easy to access on a test day. Lastly, no matter where you choose, it's a good practice to take a trip to the venue beforehand so you know exactly where it is and how long it will take to get there.

Good luck with your SAT preparation!
