University of Miami GPA requirements?

So, I'm a junior and I'm trying to sort out my college list. One of the schools I'm interested in is University of Miami but I can't seem to find their typical GPA requirements. Can anyone please let me know what GPA I should generally aim for?

While the University of Miami does not officially state a minimum GPA requirement for admission, the academic profiles of admitted students can give you a good idea of what they're looking for. As per the latest data, the middle 50% range of GPAs for accepted students falls between 4.2 and 4.5 on a weighted 4.0 scale. Now, this doesn't mean you absolutely have to fall into this range to be accepted, but it does represent where most accepted students land.

However, remember that GPAs can be assessed differently depending on the high school and the strength of your course load is equally (if not more) important. The admissions committee will consider the rigor of your classes, particularly any AP or honors courses you've taken, with a preference for students who have challenged themselves. Good luck with your college search process, and keep working hard in your junior year!
