Hello everyone! I've been preparing for the SAT and I am aiming to score as high as I can. Does anyone know what the highest possible score on the SAT is?
Absolutely, the total possible score for the SAT is 1600. This 1600 total comes from two sections (Mathematics and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing), each having a maximum score of 800. Each section is independently scored which means that a perfect score requires elite performance in both areas. Remember, the SAT, as of 2024, is fully digital and the Reading/Writing portion has two 32-minute modules to complete 54 questions while the Mathematics portion has two 35-minute modules to complete 44 questions. Best of luck with your preparations!
