UGA ACT Scores - What to Aim For?

Hey, guys! I'm planning to apply to The University of Georgia. I'm preparing for my ACT's rn and was wondering what scores previous applicants have received on their ACTs. Need a target to aim for!

It's good that you're setting goals for yourself to work towards! The University of Georgia (UGA) is quite competitive in terms of admission and the scores students need to aim for.

The middle 50% ACT score range for admitted UGA students is typically between 28 and 33. What this means is that 25% of enrolled students got an ACT score below 28, and 25% got a score above 33. Applicants with scores in the higher end of this range will naturally be more competitive.

While achieving a score within or above this range enhances your application, keep in mind, UGA conducts a comprehensive review of each application. This means that your high school transcript, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation, among other things, are also essential components.

Don't deny yourself the opportunity to apply if your ACT score doesn't fall within the mid 50%. Always remember, test scores are not everything when applying for colleges. Good luck with your preparation!
